I was all set to be induced on August 14th in the morning, but Ethan had other plans. I went into labor on my own, with a contraction that woke me up at 8:03 a.m. I hopped up, got in the shower, told Dayne to get off the phone! and it's time! Got to the hospital around 9 a.m., barely got the epidural in before it was time to push (I love the Epidural Man!), and before G&G Tripp could get inside the L&D room, Ethan was born. When it comes to giving birth, man, I DO NOT fool around!
I could have made that a long and detailed story, including the story about getting rear-ended on my way to the doctor appointment the day before, and how the anesthesiologist almost didn't get the epidural in in time, but who wants to hear all that?
We're home!
We're healthy!
We're so blessed!
(trying to hold my eyes open, I'm exhausted!)
Our sweet Ethan, you are SO loved already!

Yea for another cousin. I still think maybe our babies got mixed up in heaven. Mine are the ones with all the dark hair. He certainly fits in!! What a cutie!
He is so darn cute he almost doesn't look real. We are so happy to have a new cousin. What a sweet little guy.
Glad that it all went so well. Whew, thank goodness you got that epidural in time. Ü
